I understand why people want to know is Hily fake before they download the Hily dating app or any other app for that matter. If you’ve never heard of Hily, it’s marketed using the slogan: “Date as You Are”. Members are encouraged to have fun by focusing on the dating process to create a low-stress vibe.
For a bit of background, Hily was founded by Alex Pasykov, alongside co-founders Dmytro Kononov and Jake Vygnan. From what I gather, the goal here is conversation and compatibility. The app encourages people to share as many details about their true selves as they wish. All of this is done through detailed profiles and icebreaker questions that are used to “help people put their real selves out there and learn more about other people.”

Is Hily a Scam? Let’s Take a Look at Safety Features
I won’t make you read this whole review before I answer the question, “Is Hily legit?”
No, it’s not a scam.
Yes, it’s legit.
The Hily dating app is legit in every sense of the word. It’s legit in that I’ve met great people there and had a lot of fun doing it. It’s legit in the way the Hily app has features that let people like me connect with cool (and weird!) folks. I’m also gonna share a little story about my experience.
No Time Wasted With the Hily App!
I’m busy. I wish I had all the time in the world to hang out with people, but I don’t. My entire reason for online dating is to find someone special. Hopefully, that’s a romantic thing, but I’m cool with good friends, too. I just don’t have time for more small talk and acquaintances.
Thank God for Hily, because that’s what they deliver to me.
From the beginning, I’ve answered icks and clicks quiz to activate compatibility checker. Then, I went to profile recommendations, which are always spot on and started a couple of nice conversations. They all worked well. By the way, in rare moments when chats get stuck Hily sent me a cool message suggestion to change the subject and keep the conversation going.
Hily Dating: Creating a Genuine Safe Community
My Hily experience felt special because of how they cherish a sense of safety. It’s when you know you are connecting with people for a reason and not just getting assigned some rando that happens to live near you.
Hily feels safe, not just as a good dating app. It celebrates differences so that everybody who takes part in the community follows policies to keep others safe. That means verifying profiles, not allowing spam, quickly and efficiently working with reporting, and making everybody have a profile pic that’s a picture of themselves. To me, that’s common sense stuff. I wish all dating apps did that. IMO, it really creates a culture of respect.
But that’s just part of it. You need good support to make sure those rules are applied to everybody. I had to put that to the test recently when I got some really creepy messages. I was so glad when support jumped right on the issue and took care of it for me.
Anyway, I’m just another single person looking for love, not an app expert or even a writer. Still, I’d like to encourage anyone like me to download the app and give it a chance. For me, it’s been a great alternative, and I’ve had fun using it.
